Another busy weekend with two gigs in equally beautiful if contrasting settings. On Saturday night we played at Penzance Sailing Club against the glorious backdrop of Mount's Bay with the wind ruffling the sun splashed water. Two energetic sets got the sailors dancing and we had a very enjoyable evening😊. It did make me think that Penzance could do with a waterfront music bar, anyone out there fancy taking the job on?😂
Early on Sunday morning we headed across the Tamar to Wonderfields, a festival held in the grounds of Great Fulford Manor near Dunsford in Devon. We played a storming set on the Shire Tavern stage with a great sound (many thanks to Phil) and the marquee was full of dancers😊. Dan, the stage manager, suggested we approach the Blue Moon Cafe, just opposite, to play an impromptu set in their very chilled surroundings. Just as we were finishing there and contemplating food(!), Dan re-appeared to say a slot had become available on the Main Stage and would we like to fill it! So with about 5 minutes notice we played an hour set on the main stage against the backdrop of the manor and the lake.
Definitely a day to remember 😊
This week we're releasing a second video on our YouTube channel, a pretty dramatic interpretation of our song, ‘Too Many Ghosts'. Hope you all like it😊
