Phew, it’s that time of year, one busy week winds down and onto the next we go! After rehearsing most of Friday, Saturday was Trengwainton's ‘Summer Sounds in the Orchard' in the afternoon and then the Golden Lion in St Ives in the evening.
The Summer Sounds festival is such a great idea😊. Get together some of the best bands in West Cornwall in the beautiful setting of Trengwainton Garden on a glorious summer's day and just sit back and let the music flow. We opened the show and gave the day a suitably rousing and energetic start! Loved the wild dancers on I Can Buddy😱. Many thanks to Beth Rose for booking us, all the NT staff and volunteers for making us so welcome and Audio Source for a great job with the sound😊.
St Ives was its usual busy self in the evening and a good crowd in the Golden Lion enjoyed our two sets. Lovely comments from people at the end, sorry I didn't get your names! As you may have seen on the Facebook page we have an exciting new video coming out soon. We filmed it on a (very!) cold day in January, seems like an age away now, and we're really pleased with how its turned out. I can confirm that the release date will be Thursday 18 July, keep an eye on the Facebook page for more teasers and links😊.
