Since I last wrote we've had a busy weekend around Hayle and St Ives. Saturday 11th May saw us playing at the Rockpool at Gwithian, a great beach side bar and restaurant. A very enthusiastic crowd enjoyed two rocking sets and both spectators and band enjoyed dancing the night away.
On Sunday 12th May we headed down to Porthminster Beach for St Ives Food and Drink Festival. What a fab event of food demonstrations, local produce and (of course) live music. We played two acoustic sets on the beach and had a great time relaxing (and drinking!) in the sun. It didn’t take Lucy and Crisso long to seek out the Apple Brandy samples made by Moorland Distillery in Bodmin (highly recommended 😉) plus Lucy managed to add to her considerable collection of toe rings! Combine that with cuisine from all over the world, fish being smoked on the beach and a sunny day to go with it, what more could we ask for.
If you're a regular visitor to this site you'll have noticed some great new photographs of the band playing live at Bradworthy Arts Festival. A big shout out to Ali Palmer for these, we love them!
Next stop The Old Success in Sennen on Saturday 25th May!!!
